Only once in your life
“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”

He’s not perfect.
“He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect.
But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can.
He isn’t going to quote poetry, he’s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break.
Don’t hurt him, don’t change him, and don’t expect for more than he can give.
Don’t analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he’s not there.
Love hard when there is love to be had.
Because perfect guys don’t exist, but there’s always one guy that is perfect for you.”
― Bob Marley
Social networking today goes beyond the confines of Facebook and Twitter
Social networking today goes beyond the confines of Facebook and Twitter. Today it is imperative to have a blog. I know. I know. A blog! UGH! What in the world would you possibly have to say that other people would find interesting? EVERYTHING!
That’s right! Everything! There are MILLIONS of blogs on the net today. You can read blogs on photography, RVing, parenting, wines, music, movies, books, etc. Any subject you can think of, there is a blog devoted to it. Blogs are quickly becoming the way to assimilate information and news.
In our over-connected world, people are constantly looking for personal connections, to have something in common with their virtual friends, to be connected with another person through personal experiences. What a better place to share your experiences but on a blog?
I hear all of you groaning. Again. Blogging. UGH. I don’t have the time. I don’t know what to write about. No one will read my blog. Below are Ten Reasons Why You Should Blog by Lindsay Adler and Rosh Sillars, that I came across while reading their book, The Linked Photographers’ Guide to Online Marketing and Social Media. I highly recommend heading over to Amazon and purchasing this book. It is a wonderful reference!
1. Build your reputation
2. Express yourself.
3. Become an “expert.”
4. Share your work.
5. Improve your SEO.
6. Build an interest, increase audience.
7. Attract new clients.
8. Show your personality.
9. Promote yourself.
10. Start a conversation.
WHEN I LOVE By APRIL L. JOHNSON
TS QUIET, BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE, LIKE NO OTHER EXPLANATION IN FREEDOM’S PEACE.
I’M IN A SOFT PLACE, LIKE FLYING WITH THE DOVES VIEWING THE WORLD IN ROSE COLORED GLASSES.
I AM, IN A GARDEN TIED IN BEAUTIFUL RIBBONS, DANCING, AND DANCING UNTIL, THE MIDNIGHT SKY SHINES WITH TENDER MOON.
THE SCENT OF MY PERFUME LINGERS PATH TO YOU, FIND ME.
FIND ME, IN THE MIST OF YOUR VISIONS YEARNING TO BE WITH YOU UNTIL THE HEART OF DAWN.
LET NO MAN BRING US UNDER, BUT LOVE PRETTY IN THE CREATIONS THAT GOD HAS GIVING US, TO BE, JUST BE.
TAKE MY HAND, AND RUN WITH ME THROUGH THE CORRIDORS OF HAPPINESS, JUST YOU AND ME. I AM WATER, SHAPE ME INTO OUR LOVE, I AM HEARTFELT, CARESS MY JOY.
I AM YOU, REFLECTING IN THE MIRROR OF YOU.
I AM, YOUR QUEEN. AND YOU ARE EVERY PART OF MY DREAMS, WHICH ARE TO BE, JUST BE.

Especially For New Folks – ilovephotography.com
Things change. And change happens even more quickly in the world of digital photography than in most other places. So, what was “best practice”
just a few years ago can become quite outdated in no time. Which also means that some advice, which was exactly right a few years ago, is, well,
not so right any more. Unfortunately, as wonderful a resource as is ILP, there is no statute of limitations on the threads and advice offered. Not
so much of an issue for the more experienced photographers who recognize that some advice may be outdated. But harder for folks new to digital
photography who read older threads and assume that the practices described are still cutting edge.
So…. as of June 2011, here is what could fairly be considered “best practice” for your digital workflow. I’ve tried to point out where there are
multiple strategies that are equally valid.

Develop an understanding of what is called the exposure triangle.
You need to develop an understanding of what is called the exposure triangle. Draw a triangle on a piece of paper and label the corners as ISO, SS and aperture. Now, let’s pick some arbitrary values for each and assume that based on the current lighting conditions for a correct exposure, they are ISO = 200, SS = 1/200, and aperture = 8. Write those on the corners of the triangle.
Now, look at that diagram and consider that those setting we just wrote down are providing a certain amount of light to “fill” the triangle from edge to edge. That amount of light is the total exposure. assuming you want to keep that total exposure steady to always fill up the triangle at that size, if you make a change to any one of those settings, you have to make an offsetting change in the opposite direction to at least one of the others. If you don’t make that offsetting change, then the total exposure will change and you will either overfill the triangle (i.e over expose) or under fill it (i.e under expose).
First Lets Tango!

Then we can tangle and I wrangle the passion that sits below the surface but resounds like depth charges in your voice.
The choice He makes wake me up to the glory of a day and the polyphony of your voice as the background of our music of our Bacchanal corporeal musing.
The fires burning strong on detritus of residence and rising like smoke our resilience will live in the spirit world when our bodies have been returned to dust.
I think I should go food shopping, I might be a bit hypoglycemic.
